I am the Director and Professor of ISEM (Information Systems Engineering and Management) program at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (HU) and Founder/CEO of NGE Solutions that specializes in technical and business aspects of Next Generation Enterprises (NGEs). i am also Chief Architect of the United Nations Partnership on Small Islands and a Fulbright Senior Specialist on ICT (Information & Communication Technologies). At HU, I teaches graduate level courses in strategic planning of digital and smart enterprises, enterprise architecture and integration of digital and smart enterprises, information security, and strategic intelligence. Under my supervision, the ISEM Program at HU has grown into a powerful department that offers MS and PhD degrees in ISEM with specializations in Smart Enterprises, AI, Blockchains, Techpreneurship, Digital Health, Quantum Computing, and Next Generation Technologies. I also supervises graduate research and practical projects in Smart and Connected Communities -- my main area of interest. As Chief Architect of the United Nations ICT4SIDS (ICT for Small Islands & Developing States) Partnership, i am currently focusing on smart hubs and smart towns for the Small Islands & Developing States. Due to my assignments with three UN initiatives as Chief Architect and Initiative Director since 2007, I have worked with more than 40 developing countries.
